Have you always wanted to learn how to piece a quilt top? Have you admired those quilts your grandmother passed down to you? Here is your chance to learn basic quilting skills to create your own personalized quilts for you and your family. This is a series of 4 classes including instruction on selecting fabric, rotary cutting techniques, the use of quilting tools, sewing machine piecing, preparing your quilt top, and quilt binding. Offered every Tuesday afternoon from 1 PM to 4 PM and or evenings or Saturdays by appointment You may begin the series at any time. Pre-registration is required and class participants are requested to select fabric for class project prior to the first class. Class fee includes Alex Anderson's book "Start Quilting".

Requirements: Sewing machine, all-purpose thread, bobbin, fresh needle, cutting ruler, rotary cutter, small ruler, seam ripper, marking pen, 1/4 inch foot, 6 1/2 x 24 inch cutting ruler
