Quilt designed by Deb Tucker, Studio 180 Designs

Project size is 48” x 48”

Recommended tools are the Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star and Tucker Trimmer III rulers. Star block sections are strip pieced, layered, cut and sewn using Deb Tucker’s construction methods. This pattern was depicted in last year’s Hallmark Channel’s “Christmas Everlasting” movie and inspired by Marie Bostwick’s The Second Sister novel.

Quilt requires 7 fabrics including 2 yards of background fabric and 3 1/8 yards for backing. Batiks work very well for this pattern. Corner accents can be either fussy cut fabric or a machine embroidery design. Wabash Valley Fabrics can assist with corner design ideas and machine embroidery designs. Quilt class does not require an embroidery machine.

Requirements: fabric, rotary cutter, Deb Tucker rulers, cutting ruler, ¼ inch sewing machine foot, pattern, fabric. Cost:  Class fee is $10. Pattern is free and downloadable. Deb Tucker rulers are available for purchase. Staff is available for fabric purchase consultation. Class participants receive a 20% discount on all purchases for the class.
